Travel arrangements are changing on a regular basis and may possibly effect your ability to travel. The safety and wellbeing of any golfer travelling to Belek will always be paramount when deciding if it is viable to travel to undertake your holiday.

If conditions in Turkey dictate that travel should not go ahead due to any health restrictions being in place, we will endeavour to recommend that travel should not go ahead even if flights continue to Antalya. If a decision is made by the traveller to travel regardless they do so at their own risk, Sungolf Belek will not be responsible in away for delays and any costs incurred due to Quarantine conditions being imposed.

It is a fact that if your flight is cancelled it doesn’t mean that your hotel and any other services booked on your behalf are automatically cancelled at the same time. All hotels work on different cancellation policies so it is never a strait forward situation when cancelling a booking. In most cases a full refund will be offered subject to a £50.00 per person administration fee being paid. In some circumstances a deferment of arrival or an alternative holiday may be offered.

Competition Golf Weeks are classed as a Group Booking and as such have different terms and conditions relating to settlement of invoices and cancellation policy, if an invoice is raised to cover your holiday and you have paid your invoice and you then decide to cancel for what ever reason, a claim must be made against your travel insurance. Sungolf Belek have a strict cancellation policy which is determined by contractual obligations made with third party suppliers.

A £50.00 per person administration charge will also be charged to cover all the extra administration costs of cancellation. This administration charge is in most cases recoverable from your travel insurance.

The basic situation is: If flights are still operating and travel is still possible and you decide to cancel your holiday then a claim on your travel insurance may be required. If it becomes impossible to fly to Antalya because your flight company has cancelled your flight you are entitled to a full refund from your flight company or you can reschedule your flight to another date. Sungolf Belek are not responsible for any flight alterations or changes under any circumstances, any changes must be agreed with your flight company as such changes may effect your ability to join in any pre organised golf week. If the UK Government stop travel to Turkey by introducing a travel ban you will receive a refund of your hotel and golf costs subject to any administration costs in place at that moment in time.

Events Beyond our Control: These events can include, but are not limited to war, threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity and its consequences or the threat of such activity, riot, epidemics, pandemics and significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination (including the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic), the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, lock closure, natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to or remain at the travel destination, nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster,, unavoidable technical problems with transport and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) concerned control. Advice from the Foreign Office to avoid or leave a particular country may constitute Events Beyond Our Control.
